Opening a Door

Searching for a vintage door knob may not seem enjoyable to some people but it's been a fun task for me. Since we bought a new door that leads out our downstairs hallway to the deck, we now need a door knob to compliment the wood and glass. Throughout our house we have original vintage door knobs {circa 1885} ~ some even have beautiful faceplates with hinges that are incredible because of their ornate detail. We prefer to keep the original Victorian look in the design of our house but have a more modern aesthetic in the decor. I think I may start a wall of doorknobs because I can't decide on just one for the door.
